WELCOME TO 2007-2008

Fall Cuboree - Brant Area won't have a fall cuboree this year.  Instead we encourage groups to attend Dorchester Cub Camp and / or Hamilton Fun Day.

Sat Nov 17 to Sun Nov 18, 2007 - Sixer / Second Camp at Camp Impeesa

This camp was a combination Brant / Wellington Area Sixer/Second Camp. Co-Chairs were Sandi Landsborough and Diane Hilborn. Event Summary: We had a great camp!! 53 youth and 24 adults. WOW! What a great time. I thank all those who attended to make this a sucess. The response was so overwhelming we are running another one in March 2008. 

Sat Feb 9, 2008 - Winter Cuboree at Camp Impeesa

Chair was Bruce Hunter. Event Summary: over 100 in attendance within and outside of Brant Area. Sessions included: making a bird feeder, shovel races, skiing, snowshoeing, build a snoman/fort, snow painting.  All who attended had a great time. It was a really nice winter weather day.

Sat March 15 to Sun March 16, 2008 - Sixer/Second Camp at Camp Impeesa - Combination Brant/Wellington Area  Co-Chairs were Sandi Landsborough and Diane Hilborn. Event Summary:

YEAR 2006-2007

Fri Oct 20 to Sun Oct 22, 2006 - Fall Cuboree at Camp Impeesa  Event Summary. This event was cancelled. Some Brant Area Cub groups travelled to Hamilton to participate in the Cub Fun Day there.  Other Cub groups did their own group outing in the Brant Area.  All who were out had fun in what they choose to do.

Sat Nov 11, 2006 Rememberance Day Service, Brantford Event Summary. Several groups attended.

Sat Nov 17 & Sun Nov 18, 2006 - Sixer / Second Camp at Camp Impeesa  Event Summary. Another sucessfull event. Team putting on this event came together nicely and the youth and adults had a great time.

Sat Dec 9, 2006 - Pancake Breakfast with Santa  9:00 am to 11:00 am at Faith Lutheran Church, $4.00 per person.  Everyone welcome, scouting and non scouting, no one is to young or too old to visit with Santa.  Event Summary. Several people attended and had a great time. Breakfast was great, draws held, visit with Santa, face painting, great fellowship. Profit went to Camp Impeesa.

July 29 to August 4, 2007 - Centennial Cub Jamboree at Camp Everton.  This is the first ever jamboree for cubs. Visit www.cccj07.ca for full details. Event Summary See page 100th anniversary for Brant Area update.

YEAR 2005-2006

Sat. Oct. 22, 2005 - Fall Cuboree at Camp Impeesa  Event Summary.  Fall Cuboree was a great sucess. There wre 70 youth in attendance and 31 leaders. The youth earned their space exploration badge.  Many thanks to those who helped to run activities. YIS, Tonia Fox - AAC Pack

Sat. / Sun. Nov.12 & 13, 2005 - Sixer/Second Training Camp at Camp Impeesa  Event Summary. This event was a blast. We had 20 youth out to learn the duties and resonsibilities of a sixer/second. the kids worked hard and were very well behaved.  I want to thank those who came out and helped with the training of the youth.  YIS, Tonia Fox - AAC Pack

Sat. / Sun. Nov. 12 & 13, 2005 - Kim / Keeo Training Camp at Camp Impeesa  Event Summary.  Unfortunately this event was cancelled due to lack of registration.

Sat Jan 28, 2006 - Winter Cuboree at Camp Impeesa  Event Summary.  All who attended had a great time.

Sat March 25, 2006 Regional Kub Kars Another great event.

Fri June 2 to Sun June 4, 2006 - Summer Cuboree at Camp Impeesa  Another sucessful great event.

Sat. / Sun. June 24 & 25, 2006 -(Basic Pioneering) BP Camp at Camp Impeesa  This event will be combined in with the Regional Camporee, BC8, in September 2006.
